1. Class and Club ANNOUNCEMENTS/meetings:

¨    There is a mandatory girls’ soccer mtg., Thurs., 6/4 after school @ FHTMS room 259.

¨    Important senior dates;  June 11, 3:30-5pm, mandatory Graduation Rehearsal @ St. Michael’s College, students will assemble at the McCarthy Arts Center, near the Ross Center.  June 11, 5:30-8pm, “Senior Family Celebration BBQ” @ SBHS, $8 pp.  June 12, 10:00 am, Graduation @ the Vincent C. Ross Center, St. Michael’s College, Colchester.  Ceremony is open seating to the public, no tickets necessary.

¨    Beltrami will be @ Graduation taking photos of EACH graduate receiving their diploma as well as other candid photos of graduates that will be available for purchase from Beltrami Studios.  To view the photos from Commencement go to www.beltramistudios.com/site3/ then follow the link from the Beltrami website to view event photos and use the following to log in; Username: SBHS, Password:  REBELS

¨    Last fall you all gave us some helpful input on our school’s mission statement.  Much of your feedback told us that the current statement is too long & wordy.  Now we’re looking for some students to meet with us to look at all the feedback we got & come up with a new, improved mission statement, something that we can all get behind.  This should hopefully take just one meeting & we’re planning to meet before school one day soon.  If you’re interested, please let Mr. Burke or Karen Grace in Guidance know & we’ll tell you when the meeting is happening.

¨    Attn. senior athletes; Invitations have been mailed out to all senior athletes…If you received an invitation – you will be receiving a Senior Plaque @ the Awards Night…A list of those seniors is posted on the Student Activities office window …      The All – Sports Awards Night will be held Thurs., 5/28 @ 7pm in the SBHS Auditorium.

¨    The “Lost & Found” is overflowing….please stop by the Main Office & look for any items or clothing you may be missing.  It will be donated to charity on Friday after school.

¨    Because there is such need for donations, the Library is doing Food for Fines beginning now & continuing through the month of June.  Bring in a food item for the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf & have a fine deleted.  Food donations can be used for $2.00 service charges only.  Also remember to check for any overdue library books & bring them back before exams.

¨    There is info in Guidance on the Miss VT Teen USA pageant for young women ages 14-18.  6/1 deadline for app.  See Peg if you are interested.
